Fircrest is a middle-class suburb of Tacoma and lies west of the city and east of its similar neighbor, University Place. The approximated population is 6,780 that reside on 1.58 square miles of land. Regents Park was named in reference to regents of a university. Fircrest was the last dry city in the state that prohibited the sale of alcohol by the glass. In 2015, voters rescinded the dry law and currently allows the sale of alcohol.
